Saab AB in the United States seeks an Electronics Commodity Management Professional to lead strategic sourcing for electronics across North America and beyond. You will develop category strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance with internal stakeholders to build a resilient supply chain.

The role requires a BA/BS in a related field and 8+ years of sourcing experience, plus strong financial and electronics technical background; travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 8+ years with a BA/BS, or 6+ years with a Master’s degree, of experience typically in Sourcing or Supply Chain Management is required.
• Strong financial acumen related to sourcing and supply chain.
• Strong electronics technical background.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership and presentation abilities.

Responsabilités

• Develop commodity category strategies to drive value in Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation, and Sustainability.
• Lead supplier identification, evaluation, selection, negotiation, and award of first-time contracts.
• Manage approved supplier list for electronics commodities.
• Support supply chain during win business by onboarding critical suppliers.
• Analyze data to understand supply base and commodity categories.
• Conduct market research and analyze trends for electronics categories.
• Identify risks and opportunities within electronics via SWOT and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with Saab affiliates to determine near and long-term needs.
