Saab, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Commodity Management Professional to lead strategic sourcing activities for electronics across North America and internationally.

You will develop category strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and manage supplier performance to drive cost, quality, and innovation. The role requires experience in electronics procurement, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to travel up to 25% for global supplier engagement.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required in Supply Chain Management or Engineering.
• 8+ years with BA/BS, or 6+ years with a Master’s in Sourcing/Supply Chain.
• Strong financial acumen related to sourcing and supply chain.
• Strong electronics technical background.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop commodity category strategies for electronics focused on Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation, and Sustainability.
• Lead supplier selections and contract awards with internal stakeholders.
• Manage approved supplier lists for electronics commodities.
• Support win business by identifying and onboarding critical suppliers.
• Conduct spend analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities and drive initiatives.
