Saab AB in the United States is seeking an Electronics Commodity Management Professional to lead strategic sourcing for electronics across North America and international needs. The role drives category strategies, supplier selection, onboarding, and cost reduction initiatives while collaborating with global affiliates and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong electronics background, 8+ years of sourcing experience, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Supply Chain Management or Engineering is required.
• 8+ years with a BA/BS, or 6+ years with a Master’s degree, in Sourcing or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong financial acumen related to sourcing and supply chain.
• Strong electronics technical background.
• Leadership and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop commodity category strategies across Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation, Sustainability.
• Identify, evaluate, select, negotiate, and award first-time contracts with new suppliers.
• Manage approved supplier list for electronics suppliers.
• Support win-biz by onboarding critical suppliers.
• Conduct spend analysis and lead cost-reduction initiatives.
