Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Commodity Engineer to drive the electronics sourcing strategy for Anduril Imaging. You will collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and manufacturing to optimize cost and delivery across lifecycles.

Responsibilities include managing BOMs and risk, mitigating lead times for PCBA components, expanding supplier networks, and ensuring AS9100 compliance while coordinating data packages in PLM and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and electronics design.
• Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering at component and product level.
• Ability to travel 10–25% for vendor on-site visits.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical BOMs, component risk assessments, and alternate sourcing paths across product lines.
• Identify & mitigate supply-chain lead-time/sourcing risks, especially for PCBA components.
• Ensure scalability of electronics sourcing strategy as multiple product lines scale to full production.
• Conduct supplier selection across product lines and manage expanding approved supplier list.
• Work closely with suppliers to handle basic technical inquiries and consult with design engineering.
• Collaborate with the quality team to ensure AS9100 compliance for production electronics builds.
• Coordinate with PLM/ERP for release and transmission of technical data packages.
• Coordinate with HQ's PCBA commodity team to streamline procurement processes.
