Job summary

Anduril Imaging is seeking a Senior Commodity Engineer to drive strategic supply network development and cost management of electronics across lifecycles. You will collaborate with suppliers and cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to optimize sourcing across product lines.

The role requires 8+ years in electronics sourcing, willingness to travel, and the ability to obtain a U.S. secret clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field.
8+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics.
Ability to travel 10-25% of the time for vendor on-site visits.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Manage electrical BOMs, component risk assessments, and alternate component sourcing paths across product lines.
Identify & mitigate supply-chain lead-time/sourcing risks, especially for PCBA components.
Ensure scalability of electronics sourcing strategy as multiple product lines scale to full production.
Conduct supplier selection across product lines and managing/expanding our approved supplier list.
Work closely with suppliers to handle and resolve basic technical inquiries, consult with the design engineering team as needed.
Collaborate with the quality team to ensure AS9100 compliance for production electronics builds.
Work with the manufacturing team to ensure proper release and transmission of technical data packages within PLM and ERP systems.
Coordinate with Anduril HQ's PCBA commodity team & resources to streamline PCBA procurement processes.
