Job summary

Anduril Industries Imaging seeks a Supplier Development Engineer to drive strategic supply network development and cost management for electronics across lifecycles, collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

You will manage electrical BOMs, assess component risk, expand supplier networks, ensure AS9100 compliance, and coordinate with design, quality, and manufacturing teams to release data and products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics.
• Ability to travel 10-25% of the time and obtain a U.S. secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical BOMs, component risk assessments, and alternate component sourcing paths across product lines.
• Identify and mitigate supply-chain lead-time and sourcing risks, especially for PCBA components.
• Ensure scalability of electronics sourcing strategy as multiple product lines scale to full production.
• Conduct supplier selection across product lines and manage/expand the approved supplier list.
• Work closely with suppliers to handle and resolve basic technical inquiries, consult with the design engineering team as needed.
• Collaborate with the quality team to ensure AS9100 compliance for any and all production electronics builds.
• Work with the manufacturing team to ensure proper release and transmission of technical data packages within PLM and ERP systems.
• Coordinate with Anduril HQ's PCBA commodity team and resources to streamline procurement processes.
