Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Commodity Engineer to drive strategic supply network development and cost management for Anduril Imaging's electronics across lifecycles, by collaborating with suppliers and cross‑functionally with engineering, quality and manufacturing.

You will manage electrical BOMs, perform risk assessments, identify sourcing paths, and work with suppliers to resolve technical inquiries while ensuring PLM and ERP data flows remain accurate and timely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field.
• 8+ years in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement or electronics design.
• Travel 10–25% for vendor on-site visits.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical BOMs, component risk assessments, and alternate sourcing paths across product lines.
• Identify and mitigate supply-chain lead‑time and sourcing risks, especially for PCBA components.
• Ensure scalability of electronics sourcing strategy as multiple product lines scale to full production.
• Conduct supplier selection across product lines and manage/expand the approved supplier list.
• Work closely with suppliers to handle and resolve basic technical inquiries, consult with the design engineering team as needed.
• Collaborate with the quality team to ensure AS9100 compliance for any and all production electronics builds.
• Work with the manufacturing team to ensure proper release and transmission of technical data packages within PLM and ERP systems.
• Coordinate with Anduril HQ's PCBA commodity team and resources to streamline PCBA procurement processes.
