Job summary

Moog is seeking a Sr. Electronics Manufacturing Technician for the Phoenix, AZ area. This role involves assembling, soldering, inspecting, and verifying high-reliability electronic assemblies used in aerospace, defense, and space applications.

You will perform hand soldering (SMT and through-hole), visual inspection, AOI, and X-ray inspection while ensuring conformance to IPC and quality procedures. The position is onsite on a 3rd shift schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years electronics assembly and inspection experience.
• Proficiency in SMT and through-hole soldering.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and documentation.
• Experience with rework and repair of electronic assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble CCAs and electronic hardware following drawings and specs.
• Perform hand soldering of SMT and through-hole components.
• Inspect assemblies using microscopes and AOI systems.
• Perform or support X-ray inspection to verify solder joints.
• Document defects and maintain production/inspection records.
• Follow ESD, FOD, safety and quality procedures.
