Job summary

Moog is hiring a Sr. Electronics Manufacturing Technician in Phoenix, AZ for 3rd shift. The role covers assembly, soldering, inspection, and verification of high-reliability electronic assemblies used in aerospace, defense, and space applications.

Responsibilities include hand soldering SMT and through-hole components, visual and AOI inspections, X-ray inspection, rework, documentation, and adherence to IPC standards and quality procedures. Strong reading of engineering drawings is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years electronics assembly and inspection experience mandatory.
• Proficiency in SMT and through-hole soldering required.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and manufacturing docs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble CCAs and electronic hardware per work instructions and specs.
• Perform hand soldering of SMT and through-hole components per IPC J-STD-001.
• Inspect assemblies using microscopes and AOI equipment to ensure quality.
• Perform or support AOI, X-ray inspection, rework and repair as needed.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records and follow safety procedures.
