Job summary

Moog Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Sr. Electronics Manufacturing Technician to join our on-site 3rd shift team.

You will assemble, solder, inspect, and verify high-reliability electronics used in aerospace, defense, and space applications, following IPC standards and manufacturing docs. You will perform hand soldering, visual inspection, AOI, X-ray inspection, rework, and maintain accurate records while upholding safety and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of electronics assembly and inspection experience.
• Proficient in SMT and through-hole soldering per IPC standards.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing docs.
• Experience with rework and repair of electronic assemblies.
• Strong workmanship and quality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble CCAs and electronic hardware per work instructions.
• Perform hand soldering of SMT and through-hole components.
• Inspect assemblies with microscopes and AOI equipment.
• Document defects and maintain production and inspection records.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and team production scheduling.
• Follow safety, ESD, and quality procedures.
