Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Rolling Meadows, IL is seeking an Electronic Technician 3 to support design, assembly, testing, and maintenance of advanced electronic systems. You will handle RF applications, TWT tuning, and comprehensive testing to ensure high quality deliverables.

The role requires hands-on work with circuit boards and test equipment, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work a 4th shift schedule. A Secret Clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 4+ years of relevant experience OR an Associate’s degree in Electronics with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in military or aerospace manufacturing or depot environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional and performance testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic systems and subassemblies.
• Operate test stations and equipment, focusing on RF applications and TWT tuning.
• Perform automated testing and MPM/TX testing; record data per engineering specs.
