Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an Electronic Technician 3 in Rolling Meadows, IL. You will perform design-support testing, assembly, and maintenance of advanced electronic systems for mission-critical applications.

The role requires hands-on work with assemblies, circuit boards, and test equipment, with a focus on reliability and quality under stringent standards. A Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of related experience.
• Associate’s degree in Electronics with 2+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional and performance testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic systems.
• Operate RF test stations and perform TWT tuning.
• Perform automated testing and MPM/TX testing.
• Document test procedures and ensure compliance with specs and standards.
• Maintain test records and support corrective actions.
• Assist with environmental testing and system verification.
• Follow safety, quality, and security guidelines.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work OT on occasion.
