Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Rolling Meadows, IL, seeks an Electronic Technician 3 to support IRCM hardware testing, troubleshooting, and environmental tests from schematics and defined plans.

You will read wiring diagrams, use oscilloscopes, DVMs and signal generators; obtain and maintain a US Secret clearance; and participate in continuous improvement while earning a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma plus 4+ years electronics experience.
• Experience with oscilloscopes, generators, multimeters and probes.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• US government Secret Clearance eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tests, troubleshooting and environmental tests on production hardware.
• Isolate faults to component level and collect test data as assigned.
• Operate diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVMs and signal generators.
• Follow defined plans and work from schematics to support development tasks.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in a regulated environment.
