Job summary

Diversified is seeking a Senior Installation Superintendent – Electronic Security for work in the Virginia area. This role demands coordinating with project management, field teams, and clients to ensure successful delivery of complex security installations.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with access-control and CCTV platforms, strong scheduling skills, and the ability to mentor technicians. Travel to sites is required as project needs dictate, with a focus on safety and quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have knowledge of Teams, Outlook, OneNote, BlueBeam/Adobe Reader, Project drawing, Programming Matrix, SRDs, UILs, JHAs, THAs, Risk Hazard Analysis (RHAs), RFIs, Redlines.
• Must be able to review and understand Matrix, Drawing, BOM List, SRD.
• Must have the ability to understand access-control/CCTV systems, install devices, wire head end panels.
• Must be able to maintain the schedule given for the job and follow DIV28 specifications for quality control.
• Experience with Genetec, Avigilon, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Honeywell, Software House, Bosch, DMP.
• Knowledge in mechanical retrofitting of door frames and gates for electric locking hardware and peripheral devices.
• Knowledge of accessing network interfaces for connection to devices such as access controllers, IP cameras, Intercoms, switches and such.
• Experience and familiarity with PC admin level changes to connect to IP cameras and the aiming/adjustment of cameras.
• Clean driving record and ability to operate a vehicle.
• Clean criminal record and able to hold a security clearance/registration for your local jurisdiction (DCJS, TS Clearance, etc).
• Active Passport, or the ability to obtain Active Passport, or the ability to obtain and travel regularly.
• Able to work indoors/outdoors, standing, sitting and ladder use. Able to lift 40lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provides one point of onsite contact to the client.
• Tracking of hours for subcontractors and internal crew.
• Running multiple installation superintendents on large projects.
• Running long duration/large/complex projects/multiple sub systems or divisions (ESS).
• Review the BOM at the beginning of every job and know the material required for your job.
• Communicate needs with Project Manager and Design Engineering team.
• Keep job within scope of time frame given.
• Communicate if the job cannot be managed to Regional Supervisor/PM/Program Manager.
• Take ownership of job schedules and hold technicians accountable.
• Maintain the schedule and follow DIV28 specifications for quality control.
• Maintain communication with Regional Supervisor weekly and keep records in OneNote: milestones, work, issues, problems, site readiness, inventory, redlines/RFIs.
