Job summary

Diversified in Raleigh seeks a Senior Field Service Engineer - Electronic Security to troubleshoot and resolve advanced security systems onsite. You will support service operations, lead small projects, and coordinate with clients, installation teams, and engineers.

Role requires hands-on ESS expertise, IP networking skills, and the ability to read drawings. US citizenship is required for government-related work; travel and on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years installing and supporting enterprise security systems per manufacturer standards.
• Certifications in access control or video management systems are preferred.
• Experience with IP-based ESS architectures and networked security devices.
• Ability to read technical drawings and interpret engineering plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and break/fix repairs on ESS systems.
• Serve as primary escalation point for complex diagnostics and root cause analysis.
• Lead small service projects and coordinate schedules for upgrades.
• Configure and monitor IP-based security devices and maintain service records.
• Collaborate with manufacturers, engineers, and project teams to resolve issues.
• Support live environments and event spaces, ensuring reliability.
