Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM seeks an experienced electromechanical technologist to join the Component Test Systems & Analysis team (Dept. 7648). You will design, build, test and field automated systems, troubleshoot, and support real-time decision making for nuclear security applications.

The role requires on-site work and may involve travel and overtime to support integration and fielding activities. DOE Q clearance is required to start.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma with 3+ years of related experience, or equivalent.
• Active DOE Q clearance or equivalent is required to start.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test development hardware and automated test systems.
• Collaborate with design and systems engineers on equipment and test software.
• Lead laboratory equipment repair and calibration and maintain safety documentation.
