Job summary

SC Johnson seeks an Electromechanical Senior Technician to troubleshoot, repair and replace electrical and mechanical components within our manufacturing facility. This is a 12-hour rotating night shift (7pm–7am), on-site, supporting a C-Team with multi-craft maintenance responsibilities.

The role requires a technical college certification or Journeyman status and 2+ years of industrial electrical controls experience. Proficiency with SAP and a strong safety record are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Technical college certification in a related field or Journeyman status and 2+ years industrial electrical controls experience.
• Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Respond and assist in recovery and repair of factory installed equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic components using problem-solving techniques and test equipment.
• Complete preventative maintenance actions per OEM and engineering specs, including overhauls, calibration and basic cleaning.
• Complete basic and advanced corrective actions to support safety, quality and reliability.
• Work with motor controls, programmable logic controllers and I/O.
• Electrical controls knowledge: contactors, relays and machine safety systems.
• Experience with VFDs, PLCs, safety relays and 24VDC/480VAC systems.
• Use SAP to review work orders, generate requirements and document completion.
• Assist training of autonomous maintenance teams in operation principles and routine maintenance.
• Participate in TPM/Lean and continual improvement initiatives.
