Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in the United States is seeking a Journeyman Technician to maintain, test, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems in a unionized plant. Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:00pm–6:00am, with overtime as needed.

You will reference CMMS for maintenance data, read electrical and mechanical drawings, troubleshoot PLCs, and perform preventative maintenance to keep production equipment reliable and safe.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years electro-mechanical automation System Installation & Troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides maintenance information by using CMMS.
• Reads and interprets electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Maintains production equipment through preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoots and repairs equipment as needed.
• Demonstrates PLC troubleshooting and practical mechanical and electrical aptitude.
