Job summary

SC Johnson in Racine, WI is seeking an Electromechanical Senior Technician to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, performing both preventive and corrective maintenance across the facility.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, calibrate components, and perform basic fabrications. Experience with SAP CMMS and TPM/Lean methods is valued.

Qualifications

• Technical college certification or journeyman with 2 years manufacturing maintenance or 4–5 years industrial maintenance.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong knowledge of gearboxes, conveyors, motor controls, programmable logic, and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Respond and assist in recovery and repair of factory installed equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic components using problem-solving techniques and test equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, and overhauls per OEM and engineering specs.
• Support training of autonomous maintenance teams and participate in TPM/Lean initiatives.
• Review work in SAP CMMS and document details; fabricate basic components as needed.
