Job summary

SC Johnson seeks an Electromechanical Senior Technician to serve as a multi-craft maintenance technician in our Racine, WI facility. You will troubleshoot, repair and replace technical components within the manufacturing environment, complying with safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes preventive and corrective maintenance, basic fabrication, and hands-on problem solving with SAP and standard office tools.

Qualifications

• Technical college certification or Journeyman with manufacturing maintenance experience (2 years) or 4–5 years in industry.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Respond and assist in recovery and repair of factory equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic components with problem-solving techniques.
• Perform preventative maintenance per OEM and engineering specs, including overhauls, calibration and inspections.
• Carry out corrective actions to support safety, quality and reliability.
• Fabricate using shop equipment (mills, lathes, drill press, welding, shears, breaks).
• Utilize SAP to review work orders, generate requirements and document completion.
• Support training of operators in operation principles and routine maintenance.
