Job summary

SC Johnson is seeking an Electromechanical Senior Technician for our first shift. You will troubleshoot, repair and replace electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components within our manufacturing facility, supporting safety, quality and reliability.

The role requires a technical college certification or Journeyman credential with relevant maintenance experience in an industrial setting, and proficiency with SAP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Technical college certification or Journeyman with two years of manufacturing maintenance experience or 4–5 years of industrial maintenance is required.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Respond to recovery and repair of factory equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components.
• Perform preventative maintenance per OEM specs, including overhauls and lubrication.
• Carry out corrective repairs to support safety, quality and reliability.
• Fabricate using mills, lathes, drill press, welding and related tools.
• Use SAP to review and document maintenance work and generate requirements.
• Train operators in autonomous maintenance and basic inspections.
• Support TPM/Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
