Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Electromagnetic Spectrum Manager to support the MDA Spectrum Management Office.

The role focuses on spectrum lifecycle management, including system certification, frequency authorization, interference resolution, and global deployment coordination. The ideal candidate will have a STEM degree, 7+ years of experience, an active Secret clearance, and strong communication skills to operate in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM field required.
• 7+ years of experience.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Understanding of RF theory and electromagnetic principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure integrated management of Flight, Technical, Programmatic and Cyber risks through MRWG.
• Perform Technical Risk assessments to support OCL Decisions.
• Provide expert review of evidence related to technical and Cyber risks in system reviews.
• Support elements for risk development.
• Assist MRWG daily in Mission Execution and disposition of risks and observations.
