Job summary

Mission Driven Research, Inc. seeks an Electromagnetic Spectrum Manager to support the Missile Defense Agency's Spectrum Management Office. You will manage frequency authorizations, system certifications, and interference resolution while coordinating global deployment efforts.

The role requires an active Secret Clearance, a bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of related experience, and strong RF knowledge. You will work with STEPSTONE, EL-CID, and Spectrum XXI tools in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance is required for this role.
• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in electromagnetic spectrum management or related field.
• Understanding of RF theory and electromagnetic principles is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strict attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for team-based work.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and administrative support to the MDA SMO (CED) under the Specialty Engineering Director.
• Manage and maintain the Frequency Authorization tracker for all MDA missions with accuracy.
• Develop, author, and submit System Certifications (DD1494) using STEPSTONE and EL-CID.
• Develop, coordinate, and submit frequency authorization requests using Spectrum XXI (SXXI).
• Develop, update, and maintain critical reports and databases for operations and engineering.
• Troubleshoot EMI issues between developmental and deployed systems.
• Document SOPs, workflows, and technical solutions to support knowledge sharing.
• Develop and maintain Host Nation Coordination packets and Site Surveys for globally deploying systems.
