Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking an Electro/Mech Technician for their Locust Grove, GA facility. You will apply advanced troubleshooting skills on PLCs, Drives, Servo, HMI, CNC, and MES integration to optimize production equipment and processes.

You will advocate electrical safety, mentor technicians, and drive continuous improvement through hands-on maintenance, diagnostics, and TPM-like activities to meet customer and business needs.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent past work experience.
• 10+ years experience strongly preferred.
• Troubleshoot PLC and electromechanical manufacturing equipment.
• Read prints for mechanical, fluid power, electrical and building layouts.
• Use testing equipment for electrical, mechanical and fluid power.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain production equipment with advanced electrical/mechanical systems.
• Enforce electrical safety programs and NFPA 79 compliance.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document outcomes.
• Support machine integration, TPM objectives and continuous improvement.
• Train fundamentals of metal fabrication and machine shop skills.
