Andersen Windows in Locust Grove, GA seeks an Electro/Mech Technician to troubleshoot, maintain and improve production equipment. You will work with PLCs, Drives, Servo, HMI, CNC and MES integration while promoting electrical safety and mentoring teammates.

The role emphasizes advanced fault finding, preventative maintenance, and hands-on repair of line equipment to keep manufacturing running efficiently.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent past work experience.
• 10+ years experience in related fields strongly preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems related to PLC and electromechanical aspects of manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Multi-skilled electrical mechanical technician with advanced competency troubleshooting and supporting production equipment.
• Advocate for electrical safety programs and trained on electrical hazards.
• Advanced troubleshooting for PLC, Drives, Servo, HMI, CNC and MES integration.
• Understand NFPA 79 and enforce electrical codes for installations.
• Use volt-ohm-millimeters (VOM), VTVM, FETVOM and digital multimeters to measure DC/AC voltage and resistance.
• Repair production equipment including machine tools, dust collection and material handling equipment.
