Job summary

Linxon is seeking an SME, Primary Engineering (Electro-Mechanical) in Phoenix, AZ to lead high‑voltage substation layout designs from 765kV to 11kV and support grid modernization. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, deliver buildable layouts, and guide projects from design through energization.

You should have a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years (Master’s 3+ years) and ideally a P.Eng. certification.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with outdoor and indoor GIS applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience; Master’s with 3+ years also acceptable.
• Ideally hold or be working toward a Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑voltage designs for grid reliability and clean‑energy growth.
• Produce buildable layouts and specifications to minimize construction issues and keep procurement on track.
• Apply advanced engineering analyses to ensure long‑term system performance and prevent failures.
• Lead design reviews and provide site support to resolve issues early and avoid rework.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and field teams from design to energization.
• Present clear, dependable technical solutions to enable successful project delivery.
