Linxon in Raleigh, NC is seeking an SME, Primary Engineering to advance high‑voltage substation layouts from 765kV to 11kV, strengthening grid reliability and energy resilience. You will lead design reviews, produce buildable layouts and specifications, and collaborate across engineering, procurement and field teams through energization with opportunity to grow into Lead Engineer within 3–5 years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD and MicroStation) to produce accurate design deliverables
• Experience with outdoor and indoor GIS applications and electrical substations
• P.Eng. certification is preferred or in progress
