Job summary

Linxon is seeking an SME, Primary Engineering for energy and infrastructure projects in Raleigh, NC. This on-site role focuses on developing substations from 765kV down to 11kV, impacting grid resiliency and renewables integration.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, deliver buildable layouts, and lead design reviews while growing toward leadership within 3–5 years. Bachelor's or higher in Electrical Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or a Master's with 3+ years.
• Experience with outdoor and indoor GIS applications and associated infrastructure.
• Provisional or preferred Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-voltage designs spanning 765kV to 11kV to strengthen grid reliability.
• Produce buildable layouts and specifications to minimize construction issues and keep procurement on track.
• Apply advanced engineering analyses to ensure long-term system performance and reliability.
• Lead design reviews and provide site support to resolve issues early and avoid rework.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and field teams to ensure seamless execution from design to energization.
• Present clear, dependable technical solutions to enable successful project delivery.
