Job summary

Vertiv Corporation seeks a Training Specialist to perform internal and external technical training on safe operation and testing of electrical power system equipment. You will develop content and instructional materials used in training delivery and design exercises to enhance classroom lecture content.

The role includes developing and administering programs, supporting field service associates, and coordinating training with clients. Travel for out-of-area assignments may be required.

Qualifications

• IEEE, IAEI involvement expected.
• Public speaking presentations as assigned.
• Willing to work flexible hours and weekends; available for out-of-area assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and administering new training programs.
• Develops outline, text, handouts, tests and designs of laboratory exercises.
• Review classes and provide support and assistance to other instructors.
• Administers written and practical exams and writes performance reports to evaluate trainee's performance.
• Perform field maintenance and testing support.
• Provide training course development and support.
• Promote, Schedule, coordinate, and communicate with all parties involved for training delivery.
• Support sales and operations leaders to promote external training with customer representatives.
• Attend/lead calls with clients to determine training needs, level of training needed, duration, etc. of training requests.
