Vertiv is seeking a Field Engineer - Electrical Testing (NETA Level III/IV) to perform acceptance, testing, and maintenance on electrical power systems up to 500kV. The role includes leading tests, interpreting results, and mentoring junior technicians on regional projects.

Qualifikationen

• NETA III/IV certification (current and in good standing) or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on electrical testing in medium/high voltage environments.
• Strong knowledge of NETA MTS/ATS standards.
• Ability to read one-line, three-line diagrams and P&IDs.
• Proficiency with test equipment: Doble, Megger, Omicron, Dranetz, SKF.

Aufgaben

• Perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing on electrical power systems up to 500kV.
• Conduct power system studies including short circuit, coordination, arc flash, and power quality analysis.
• Test and calibrate protective relays (electromechanical, solid-state, microprocessor-based).
• Perform insulation resistance, power factor, and contact resistance testing on transformers, switchgear, cables, and circuit breakers.
• Interpret and analyze test results; author reports with findings and recommendations.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical system failures in time-critical settings.
• Mentor Level I/II technicians; serve as technical lead on projects.
