U.S. Electrical Testing, LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical Test Technician 3 to lead electrical testing projects and oversee SCADA and Life Safety Systems integration.

You will develop testing programs, mentor staff, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across industrial environments. The role requires hands-on expertise with protective relays, high voltage testing, and CMMS-driven maintenance, with travel as needed.

Competenze

• NETA / NICET certification (preferred) or equivalent hands-on experience in electrical testing.
• Strong understanding of ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA electrical safety standards.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting protective relays, circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, and other electrical equipment.
• Experience with test equipment such as Doble, Omicron, Megger, Vanguard, and Fluke meters.
• Understanding of insulation resistance, power factor, contact resistance, and high-potential (Hi-Pot) testing procedures.
• Knowledge of medium and high-voltage systems (up to 500kV), including arc flash hazard analysis.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose system failures.
• Willingness to travel as needed and work in industrial, data center, and utility environments.
• Ability to work safely under minimal supervision and follow industry best practices.

Mansioni

• Develop Electrical Testing Program for duty site and serve as SME over the divisions Operation and Maintenance program.
• Manage or train operations staff to operate and update all system control applications maximizing efficiency.
• Assist in developing SOPs and training programs for operators to monitor and control the complex systems.
• Assist in CMMS-based scheduling, dispatch, tracking and reporting of maintenance activities.
• Oversee integration and functionality for building control systems including SCADA, Delta Controls and Life Safety Systems.
• Coordinate with the Program Manager to optimize monitoring performance and energy goals.
• Provide oversight and perform troubleshooting of operational problems during testing activities.
• Supervise electrical testing activities as needed.
• Assist in developing project schedules with the MEP Operations Manager.
• Develop and implement ORM safety procedures and safety meetings with safety reports.
• Conduct protection relay testing, circuit breaker testing, and transformer testing; perform arc flash analysis.
