Job summary

UNAVAILABLE is seeking a Senior Electrical Test Technician to independently manage small to medium projects and oversee the building control system testing and commissioning. You will develop testing programs, supervise staff, and coordinate with program management to ensure efficient operation of SCADA, life safety, and control systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical testing experience with HS Diploma/GED
• Valid US work authorization
• NETA/NICET preferred or equivalent hands-on experience
• Strong knowledge of ANSI/IEEE/NETA/NFPA/NEC/OSHA electrical safety standards
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
• Proficiency with protective relays, circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear
• Experience with test equipment: Doble, Omicron, Megger, Vanguard, Fluke
• Willingness to travel and work in industrial, data center, and utility settings
• Safety culture focus; follow lockout/tagout and PPE requirements
• Mentorship of junior technicians

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical testing program for duty site and act as SME
• Manage or train staff to operate and update control systems
• Assist in SOPs and training for operators of complex MEP controls
• Support CMMS-based scheduling, dispatch, and reporting of maintenance activities
• Oversee integration of SCADA, Delta Controls, and life safety systems
• Coordinate with Program Manager to optimize monitoring performance and energy goals
• Provide oversight and troubleshooting for operational problems
• Supervise electrical testing activities during projects
• Assist in developing electrical work schedules and ORM safety procedures
• Generate safety reports and maintain related records
• Conduct protective relay, circuit breaker, and switchgear testing; arc flash studies
