Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a skilled technician to lead inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and start-up of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment.

You will work both in the field and in a shop, using advanced test equipment and following NETA standards. You must have 5+ years of relevant electrical experience with a High School Diploma/GED, and be willing to travel regionally and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant electrical experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
• Experience with electrical testing and inspection in distribution systems.
• Familiarity with NETA/NICET preferred or equivalent hands-on testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and start-up of low and medium voltage distribution equipment.
• Perform testing on transformers, switchgear, breakers, and relays per NETA standards.
• Coordinate projects onsite and in-house, review and maintain documentation from order receipt to invoice.
• Travel locally, regionally, and nationally; international travel preferred.
