Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Test Engineer to design, build, and sustain critical test infrastructure for high-reliability hardware. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience as a Manufacturing Test Engineer or similar hardware test development role.
• Hands-on experience designing physical test infrastructure (test racks, DAQs, lab instrumentation).
• Proficiency writing automated test scripts and hardware control software in Python on Linux/Unix.
• Strong Linux/Unix skills (terminal, scripting, SSH, network).
• Experience interfacing with embedded hardware communication protocols (UART, CAN, RS-485/RS-232).
• Familiarity with CAD/EDA tools (Siemens NX, Altium Designer).
• Familiarity with AS9100/ISO 9001 or equivalent quality standards.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing test infrastructure across the production lifecycle.
• Develop PLC-integrated station control software over Modbus TCP.
• Build hardware-free simulation environments for testing.
• Define test plans and acceptance criteria with Reliability and Quality teams.
• Design, build, and integrate complete test stations and fixtures.
• Develop automated test software in Python for Linux/Unix.
• Interface test equipment with devices under test (DUTs) via UART/CAN/RS-485/RS-232.
• Maintain AS9100-compliant documentation and calibration workflows.
• Integrate test stations with MES for serialization and traceability.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers during NPI for DFT and cycle-time optimization.
