Job summary

Redwood Materials is seeking an Electrical Technician IV to act as the technical lead in our Industrial Control Cabinet Fabrication shop. You will support our Controls and Manufacturing Engineering teams with development, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of high-tech manufacturing equipment and processes.

As a Senior/Level IV Technician, you will manage build and delivery schedules, lead daily shop operations, review BOMs and schematics, and mentor

Qualifications

Strong electrical aptitude with experience on industrial equipment and manufacturing.
Hands-on experience wiring 480V power systems and low-voltage controls.
Knowledge of UL508A, NEC, NFPA 79 standards.
Mechanical layout, metal cutting, stud welding or light welding.
Excellent communication and proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook.
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

Lead daily fabrication tasks, manage shop workflows, and maintain build and delivery schedules for custom industrial control panels.
Review, redline, and provide feedback on electrical schematics, layouts, and drafting quality to optimize designs.
Provide accurate time and material estimates for new equipment builds and system upgrades.
Troubleshoot complex process or equipment issues and maintain/upgrade existing control system infrastructure.
Onboard, train, and mentor entry-level technicians in fabrication and electrical standards.
Oversee and maintain control shop parts and component inventories.
