Job summary

Harper Fox Partners is seeking a Senior / Electrical Team Lead to guide a team of Electrical Designers and drive project delivery across multiple sectors. You’ll provide day-to-day leadership, technical guidance, and mentoring while staying hands-on for critical design work.

The role emphasizes team autonomy with accountable oversight in a dynamic, employee-owned firm. The role supports remote work across the U.S.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of electrical/MEP experience
• PE licence is required
• Experience mentoring and leading engineers/designers
• Strong communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
• Agile and adaptable approach to support different areas

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Electrical Designers (approx. six people)
• Provide day-to-day leadership, technical guidance and mentoring
• Balance 40% people management with 60% project delivery
• Collaborate across the wider Electrical function across segments (retail, restaurant, entertainment, commercial, multifamily)
