Job summary

Summit Line Construction, a Quanta Services, Inc. subsidiary, seeks Data Center Construction Estimators for nationwide opportunities. You will prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical infrastructure projects, analyzing plans, specifications, and schedules while traveling to project sites as needed.

You will collaborate with project managers and engineers, maintain cost databases, and help ensure competitive bids. The role offers growth opportunities in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Professional Estimator) are a plus.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Scope Analysis: Review project plans and specifications to understand the scope of work.
• Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure accurate estimates.
• Data Analysis: Analyze historical data and project performance to improve future estimates.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with regulations and manage change orders and cost-to-complete estimates.
• Proposal and Bid Preparation: Participate in bid reviews and prepare proposal documents.
