Job summary

Summit Line Construction, a Quanta Services subsidiary, seeks an Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical infrastructure projects in the western region. You will analyze plans, specs, and pricing to determine labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other costs, ensuring competitiveness and adherence to standards.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients, manage data analyses to improve estimates, and support bid reviews and proposals while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and cost estimation methods.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Certified Professional Estimator is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to understand scope of work.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Perform take-offs and cost analyses; develop and maintain cost databases.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure competitive bids.
• Assist with bid preparation and change orders.
