Job summary

Johnson Service Group is seeking a senior electrical systems engineer to lead advanced design initiatives and influence engineering standards across multiple projects.

The role requires expert knowledge in electro-mechanical systems, advanced system modeling, and experience with ARP4754. You’ll mentor engineers, support technical reviews, and collaborate with aerospace OEMs and suppliers to ensure high reliability and safety across architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of engineering experience; Master’s degree preferred.
• Expert knowledge in electro-mechanical systems and controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex design initiatives and influence engineering standards across projects.
• Provide technical leadership for cross-functional teams and drive resolution of challenging electrical system issues.
• Create, review and approve electrical designs, analyses and documentation.
• Conduct advanced failure mode analysis and implement robust engineering solutions.
• Influence engineering design standards, safety practices and quality guidelines.
• Mentor engineers and support development of technical capability across the team.
• Support program technical reviews and strategic engineering initiatives.
