Job summary

Johnson Service Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to provide engineering support for substation systems, design and analysis, and project leadership. The role involves conducting AC/DC calculations, equipment specifications, and performance evaluations while ensuring compliance with standards such as IEEE and NERC.

The candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with field personnel, technicians, and management to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited curriculum.
• PE preferred or PE license will count as 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support project planning, development, engineering, construction planning, execution and closeout.
• Provide technical work directions and oversee contractors.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to complete design and construction planning for substations.
• Prepare engineering progress reports and conduct calculations to support project scope.
• Analyze and recommend solutions for routine and complex operational and regulatory issues.
• Prepare and deliver written and oral reports of technical issues and findings.
