Job summary

Gridworks, a leading EPC contractor for utility-scale solar and storage, seeks an Electrical Superintendent to lead electricians and apprentices across multiple projects. You will plan, organize, and direct daily electrical work, supervise field crews, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with Construction and Safety leadership to deliver progress reports.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership in dynamic field environments, with travel to various project locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years’ experience as a Journeyman Licensed Electrician.
• Working knowledge of construction, electrical work, systems, and troubleshooting.
• Willingness to travel to various locations as required within and outside New Mexico.
• Able to read architectural plans/blueprints and perform equipment layout.
• Strong knowledge of National Electrical Codes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct the work of electrician employees on a daily basis.
• Examine plans and sites, develop a plan to install all electrical wiring and equipment.
• Supervise workers and field personnel implementing the electrical plan.
• Ensure safety measures and regulations are followed, prioritizing worker safety.
• Monitor progress and coordinate with site superintendents and directors to deliver reports.
• General project planning prior to commencement.
• Manage supplies to ensure on-time delivery at lowest cost.
• Oversee site preparation and cleanup.
