Job summary

Gridworks seeks an Electrical Superintendent to lead electricians on utility-scale solar and battery projects across multiple locations. You will supervise crews, review plans, and implement electrical installations while ensuring safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

The role demands strong leadership, deep NEC knowledge, and the ability to travel nationwide to support fast-paced field operations. A journeyman license and 4+ years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years’ experience as a Journeyman Licensed Electrician.
• Strong working knowledge of National Electrical Codes.
• Able to read architectural plans/blueprints.
• Willing to travel across the country.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Clean driving record; pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct the work of electricians on a daily basis.
• Review plans and sites; develop installation plans for wiring and equipment.
• Supervise field personnel and implement the electrical plan.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure worker safety.
• Coordinate with site superintendents and safety directors for progress reports.
• Handle project planning before commencement and manage supplies to reduce costs.
• Oversee site preparation and cleanup.
