Job summary

As part of the Field Supervision department, you’ll guide project teams, manage costs, maintain client relations, and supervise site activities to ensure on-time turnover, while benefiting from a robust compensation package.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of construction experience with 5+ years in a General Superintendent/Leadership capacity.
• Self-starter with motivation to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to learn Kiewit’s policies, procedures and software.
• Strong leadership, safety, negotiations, planning and contract administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and grow Superintendents.
• Review and approve labor rates for Foremen, journeymen and laborers.
• Manage subcontractor/field management meeting communication.
• Develop client-relations programs on site.
• Attend meetings with client for problem resolution and planning.
• Oversee monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections.
• Review and negotiate change orders.
• Plan project completion and turnover.
• Maintain daily diary for records.
• Ensure timely performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Suggest organizational, policy or staff changes.
• Review and approve promotions up to General Foremen.
