Qualifications

• 10+ years' construction experience with 1+ years in a General Superintendent/Leadership capacity (nuclear experience is a plus).
• Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to learn Kiewit policies, procedures, and software.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems as they arise.
• Excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership, safety, negotiations, planning, and contract administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and help to grow Superintendents.
• Review and approve labor rates for foremen, journeymen, and laborers.
• Manage contract administration and field communications.
• Develop client relations programs with on-site staff.
• Lead meetings with clients for problem resolution and planning.
• Oversee monthly cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections.
• Review, approve or negotiate change orders.
• Plan project completion and turnover.
• Maintain daily diary for records.
• Ensure timely performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Recommend organizational or policy improvements.
• Review and approve promotions up to General Foremen.
