Job summary

Mass. Electric Construction Co. (MEC) is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead industrial and advanced technology projects across the United States from Homer City, PA.

You will supervise crews, coordinate with contractors, and uphold safety and quality standards on multifaceted electrical installations. The role offers relocation assistance, per diem, and paid trips home, along with MEC’s comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within a premier electrical contractor

Qualifications

• Minimum five years experience as General Foreman or Superintendent.
• Experience managing 20-50 craft employees at one time.
• Broad understanding of technical electrical systems including underground layout, instrumentation installation, and above-ground systems.
• Willing to travel and relocate nationwide; access to construction sites.
• Must be able to work with a team and provide input.

Responsibilities

• Supervise small to medium size construction projects.
• Perform daily inspections for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Act as liaison between contractors and owners/general contractors.
• Establish budgetary guidelines and ensure cost control measures.
• Provide job safety training and awareness for all personnel.
• Establish quality standards and ensure QA/QC compliance.
• Develop and manage job schedules and coordinate with contractors and suppliers.
