Job summary

CEC is seeking a Senior Superintendent to act as the primary jobsite supervisor for electrical construction projects, coordinating multiple crews and ensuring safety compliance on large ground-up developments.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Project Manager, laying out work, managing materials and manpower, overseeing safety programs, and ensuring schedules and budgets are met. The role requires extensive electrical trade experience and reliable leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience.
• Must pass drug and background check.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all CEC field trades on an electrical construction project.
• Does a working estimate and take-off jointly with the Project Manager.
• Lays out work for crews and ensures timely material and manpower.
• Establishes work schedules and man-loading charts.
• Interfaces with General Contractor for scheduling and performance.
• Supervises installation of electrical equipment and wiring.
• Monitors work, directs crews, and schedules according to pace.
• Oversees administrative paperwork and safety reports.
• Ensures overall project safety performance.
• Ensures staff are trained and compliant with safety policies.
