Job summary

GCON is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee the electrical systems installation for brownfield data center projects, including leadership in live datacenter environments and coordination with project managers, general contractors, and vendors. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to specifications.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management or related degree.
• 8–10 years in electrical trade or supervising electrical scope.
• 5+ years in supervisory role on large-scale commercial/industrial projects.
• Experience with data centers or industrial projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the electrical installation team on-site for a $30M+ data center project.
• Main point of contact for electrical activities with PMs, GC, trade partners, and vendors.
• Coordinate work between electrical trades and commercial teams to meet schedule and safety standards.
• Ensure electrical work meets quality standards and codes.
• Perform regular inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Enforce OSHA safety protocols on site.
• Track progress and identify delays to keep the project on schedule.
• Collaborate with HVAC/structural/civil teams to resolve clashes.
