Job summary

GCON Management Company LLC seeks an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee electrical installations for a $30M+ data center project. This leadership role operates in live datacenter environments, coordinating with project managers, general contractors, and trade partners to ensure safety, quality, and timely completion.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management or related degree.
• 8–10 years of electrical trade or GC overseeing electrical scope; 5+ years in supervisory role on large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems incl. high-voltage distribution, emergency backup, lighting, power & controls; grounding; fire alarm; familiarity with BMS is a plus.
• Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical installation team on-site for a $30M+ data center project.
• Serve as the main point of contact for all electrical activities with project managers, general contractors, trade partners, and vendors.
• Coordinate work between electrical trades and commercial teams to meet schedule and safety/quality standards.
• Ensure all electrical work meets codes and specifications; perform regular inspections for compliance.
• Maintain safety protocols per OSHA and ensure workers adherence to standards.
• Track progress, identify delays or conflicts, and take corrective actions to keep on schedule.
• Collaborate with other discipline superintendents to resolve coordination issues.
