Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, Pecos, Texas, seeks an Electrical Superintendent for a Data Center project. Plan, supervise, and direct electrical installation crews to deliver work safely, on schedule, and within budget.

This role requires 10+ years in electrical construction supervision, with experience in industrial/pharma/data center environments; hyperscale data center experience is preferred and candidate must manage changes efficiently.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in electrical construction supervision.
• Experience with technical industrial, pharmaceutical, or data center environments.
• Hyperscale data center experience preferred.
• Understanding of construction scheduling and cost control.
• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.
• Ability to perform takeoffs and pricing for changes orders and related project work.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and direct the personnel involved in the installation of electrical systems in order to ensure the work is performed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Maintain a culture of safety and quality first.
• Have a complete understanding of the project design, drawings, specifications, and installation requirements.
• Work in conjunction with the Project Management Team on material and equipment buyouts, schedules, labor, and tracking.
• Monitors quality of workmanship on the project and ensures compliance with the project and company standards.
• Evaluates, mentors, and trains field supervision and tradesmen.
• Performs takeoffs and pricing for change orders and project related work.
• Evaluates productivity and schedules and makes the adjustments required to optimize efficiency.
