Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Lithia Springs, GA seeks an Electrical Superintendent-Data Center for full-time employment.

The role requires leadership on electrical installations, safety focus, and collaboration with management to meet schedule and budget targets. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in electrical construction supervision, experience in data center environments, and a track record of managing large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Current State Electrical Journeyman License or 4 year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or licensed journeyman experience.
• 10+ years experience in electrical construction supervision.
• Experience with technical industrial, Pharmaceutical, or Data Center environments.
• Hyperscale data center experience preferred.
• Experience with $20M-$100M electrical projects preferred.
• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.
• Understanding of construction and labor scheduling, cost control, and ability to supervise large groups.
• Ability to perform takeoffs and pricing for changes orders and related project work.
• Excellent computer, communication, organizational, supervisory, and planning skills.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and direct personnel involved in the installation of electrical systems to ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Maintain a culture of safety and quality first.
• Have a complete understanding of the project design, drawings, specifications, and installation requirements.
• Work with the Project Management Team on material and equipment buyouts, schedules, labor, and tracking.
• Monitors quality of workmanship and ensures compliance with project and company standards.
• Evaluates, mentors, and trains field supervision and tradesmen.
• Performs takeoffs and pricing for change orders and project related work.
• Evaluates productivity and schedules and makes adjustments to optimize efficiency.
